Crime Syndicates (Yakuza, Mafia, Triad, Sepluoua Rings, The Vory), Street gangs of various kinds (numerous, usually contracted to do work for the syndicates), Corporate (the guys controlling most of the world), Government (Rare to non-existent as far as this sim is concerned), Police (another corporation hired to perform police work, just one that is specialized to do police work), and medical (yet again, a corporation, just one that is speced in medical work). Then a smattering of independents.
Independents are usually poor and are trying to seek out an existence between these various groups, living as Shadowrunners or are corporate citizens.
